Clifford '83 Named Assistant Coach of NBA's Orlando Magic

Steve Clifford '83, a former member of the Houston Rockets coaching staff, has been named an assistant coach for the Orlando Magic, along with NBA legend Patrick Ewing. Clifford began his college coaching career in the Northeast and went on to hold assistant coaching positions with both the New York Knicks and the Houston Rockets. "I have a ton of respect for Steve and the job he does," Ewing told Farmington First in the winter 2007 article "Hoop Dreams." "He is such a great person and so knowledgeable about the game."
